Key differences
- Thailand’s DTV is a savings test (THB 500,000 in the bank for each of the last 3 months), not an income test. Indonesia’s E33G asks for USD 60,000 a year in income, plus a 3-month bank statement showing at least USD 2,000.
- The DTV is a 5-year multiple-entry visa with stays of 180 days per entry (extendable once by 180 days). The E33G gives a 1-year stay that can be extended online.
- The DTV confirms spouse and children under 20 can apply. Indonesia’s official E33G page we checked doesn’t confirm family rules.
- Bali has no visa of its own: it is part of Indonesia, so the national E33G applies.
